Welcome To LLM Guru

LLM Guru is an initiative to help people realize their dream to study law outside their home country. This could mean in the form of LLM admission, or a bar exam course or simply wanting to obtain greater knowledge on what is the logical next step for you in your career.

We have seen in our experience that there are many admissions consultants available, but they often have not gone through the rigor of the program themselves. Therefore, their advice is often generic and is sometimes unfounded. We aim to change that by providing valuable information from people who have actually been a part of an LLM program and who know what it takes to get into a top program. So instead of someone who simply runs an admissions consultancy and sees you only as a revenue source, we see every candidate as someone who wants to realize their dream. And our goal isn’t to make profit, but rather to help people realize their own goals.

  • Prashasti Agrawal

I am Prashasti Agrawal, and I am currently pursuing my LLM in Privacy Law and CyberSecurity in the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. I wanted to apply for universities with a specialization in Cyber Law and LLM Guru helped with just that by helping me narrow down my list of colleges and weighing the pros and cons of each college. That was especially helpful as it is very important to know exactly the places you’ll be applying to, as it gives you a kick start for your application process and the required materials.

Right from proof reading my material, to providing valuable inputs and reminding me of deadlines, LLM Guru assisted me with all stages of my application and I am incredibly grateful for the same!

Studying in one of the best colleges for cyber law, in one of the most beautiful cities in the world is nothing short of exhilarating. Right from the classes which deal from counterterrorism to intellectual property, to exploring the city, to making friends from all over the world, it is an incredible experience to say the least. I can’t wait for what is in store for me for the next few months!

  • Aadhya Ishani Sathi

My name is Aadhya Ishani Sathi and I’m currently pursuing LLM with Business Certificate at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. I completed my B.A LLB from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (2021).My key takeaway from the whole LLM admissions process and selection of schools would be that one should be clear about which field they would like to attain masters in and then filter out the universities which offer those courses.

Selecting a university is one of the most important decisions you will be making during your LLM process.I will not lie but applying for universities is a tedious job. There are so many things to do right from making your SOP’s to getting that letter of recommendation and then that gush of self doubt whether you are a good applicant or not.I would suggest one to start their research as soon as possible and narrow down the universities they want to go to and start working on their SOP’s because that piece of paper will talk for you in front of the admissions department.

I was fortunate enough to find LLM Guru on time who helped ease the process and guide me all along the way.My experience at USC has been one of the best. Right from the campus to the professors to the courses everything has been simply amazing. This is one such experience and exposure one should get.
